Triple D Dance Unlimited is a kids’ dance program based in Astoria, Queens, NY, founded in November 2015. Today, we offer classes in Astoria, Forest Hills, and Long Island City.
Our Director, YUYU, brings over 20 years of dance experience to the studio. She loves to challenge students in a fun, positive, and healthy way—helping each child discover their individuality, build confidence, and grow into strong and empowered young people.
We believe that dance is about more than developing technical skills. It is also about learning how to express yourself, work hard, overcome challenges, and find your own voice as an artist.
With a philosophy of Fun, Challenge, Effort & Skill Improvement, YUYU strives to create a nurturing environment where every student is encouraged to grow at their own pace while working toward excellence in dance.
Through a wide variety of exciting dance styles and experiences, our goal is to help every child develop not only as a dancer, but also as a confident, creative, and empowered individual.

**Triple D Dance Unlimited（トリプルD・ダンス・アンリミテッド）**は、2015年11月にニューヨーク・クイーンズのアストリアでスタートしたキッズダンスプログラムです。
現在はアストリアをはじめ、フォレストヒルズ、ロングアイランドシティでもクラスを開催しています。
ダンス歴20年以上の経験を持つDirectorのYUYUは、子どもたち一人ひとりの個性を大切にしながら、楽しく、ポジティブで、健やかな方法でチャレンジすることを大切にしています。
Triple Dでは、ダンスの技術を身につけることだけが「成長」だとは考えていません。
楽しく取り組むこと。
チャレンジすること。
努力すること。
スキルを伸ばすこと。
そして、ダンスを通して自分に自信を持ち、自分らしく表現する力を身につけることも大切にしています。
一人ひとりの成長のペースを尊重しながら、ダンサーとしての技術だけでなく、自信・創造力・自己表現力、そして困難に挑戦する強さを育んでいける環境を目指しています。
アメリカで暮らす子どもたちの中には、日本をはじめさまざまな国から来たご家族のお子さんもいます。
Triple Dでは、そんな多様なバックグラウンドを持つ子どもたちが、ダンスを通して新しい仲間と出会い、自分らしくのびのびと表現しながら、自信と「ここにいていい」という居場所を感じられることも大切にしています。

YUYU
Founder & Director of Triple D Dance Unltd.
Born and raised in Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan, YUYU began her dance journey at an early age and trained in a wide variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Flamenco, and Gymnastics.
Before moving to the United States, she worked as a dance instructor and choreographer and organized numerous events and stage productions throughout the Sapporo and Otaru areas.
YUYU also developed a passion for ballroom dancing. Her talent led her to study abroad in Russia, and she competed in numerous tournaments, primarily in Hokkaido, eventually earning the title of Amateur Champion. She holds qualifications as a ballroom dance instructor as well as a sports instructor for people with disabilities.
In 2001, YUYU moved to New York City to pursue her dream of studying dance in one of the world's most influential dance capitals. She trained at Ballet Arts and Broadway Dance Center, and later obtained an Artist Visa to begin her professional dance career in New York.
Her professional career has included choreography, performance, and dance direction across a wide range of projects. She choreographed for the Manhattan College cheer dance team and performed at Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater, where she was selected to appear on Showtime at the Apollo.
She has also worked on music videos and live stages for various well-known artists and has served as a dance director and dancer for celebrity events, including events associated with Wendy Williams and Funkmaster Flex, as well as performances at renowned New York venues and clubs such as Copacabana and Cheetah.
After years of working professionally in the New York dance and entertainment industry, YUYU became a wife and mother of two.
In November 2015, she founded Triple D Dance Unlimited, a kids’ dance program in Queens, New York.
Today, Triple D offers programs in Astoria, Forest Hills, and Long Island City, as well as online classes via Zoom, which began during the pandemic and continue to this day.
With more than 20 years of dance experience, YUYU is passionate about sharing the joy of dance with the next generation. She teaches in both English and Japanese, creating a welcoming environment where children from diverse backgrounds can learn, grow, express themselves, and discover their own individuality through dance.
北海道小樽市生まれ。幼少期よりダンスを始め、バレエ、ジャズ、ヒップホップ、タップ、フラメンコ、体操など、さまざまなジャンルのダンスを学ぶ。
北海道・札幌、小樽を中心に、ダンスインストラクター、振付師として活動するほか、数多くのイベントやステージの企画・運営にも携わる。
また、社交ダンスにも魅了され、その才能をさらに磨くためロシアへの留学を経験。北海道を中心にさまざまな大会に出場し、アマチュアチャンピオンのタイトルを獲得。社交ダンスインストラクター資格、および障がい者スポーツ指導員の資格を取得する。
2001年、世界のダンスの中心地であるニューヨークで本格的にダンスを学ぶため渡米。
Ballet Arts、Broadway Dance Centerでダンスを学び、その後Artist Visaを取得。ニューヨークを拠点にプロダンサーとしてのキャリアをスタートさせる。
Manhattan Collegeのチアダンスチームの振付を担当したほか、Apollo Theaterの「Amateur Night」に出演し、**「Showtime at the Apollo」**にも出演。
そのほか、著名アーティストのミュージックビデオやステージ、さまざまなイベントにダンサー・振付師・ダンスディレクターとして参加。Wendy WilliamsやFunkmaster Flex関連のイベントをはじめ、ニューヨークの有名クラブ「Copacabana」「Cheetah」など、数多くのステージやイベントで長年にわたり活動してきた。
結婚後、2児の母となり、2015年11月、ニューヨーク・クイーンズにキッズダンスプログラム 「Triple D Dance Unlimited」 を設立。
現在は、Astoria、Forest Hills、Long Island Cityでクラスを開催。また、パンデミックをきっかけにスタートしたZoomによるオンラインクラスも現在まで継続している。
20年以上にわたるダンス経験を生かし、現在は次世代の子どもたちにダンスの楽しさを伝えることに力を注いでいる。
英語・日本語の両方に対応し、さまざまなバックグラウンドを持つ子どもたちが安心して学び、自分らしく表現できる環境づくりを大切にしている。
